For Fall Break we traveled to Utah to see some friends and family. We stayed with our favorite law school friends that now live in
Saratoga Springs. They were so kind to give us the master bedroom of their home. They really made us feel at home while we were there.
It was wonderful to see our kids playing together just as easily now as they did when they were young. Thank goodness the kids don't seem to have any lasting trauma from the stress of law school as Ben and I and John and Ramona do. It was our friendship with them that helped us get through those stressful three years. Ramona and I would often get together while our husbands were gone to class. We would also get together on weekends to play games. We credit the Browns for introducing us to
Cataan!
From the moment we got there
Jarom was hanging out with Chipper and Mitchell and Camille and Abby were inseparable. Ramona told me that her kids said they would rather come to visit us next year then go to Disneyland! The older kids came downstairs to eat, but otherwise they were upstairs enjoying every minute together. Camille and I had fun helping Ramona with Noah, their 6 month old. He is such a sweet, calm baby!

On Saturday morning we split the families up to best entertain every age group. Ben and John took the older kids bowling while Ramona and I took the girls and babies to the museum at
Thanksgiving Point. We looked for pirate hats, played in the water/sand table, did hands on
activities, made crafts and got our faces painted.

Thomas refused to wear the apron then cried when he got wet.
We could have played here for hours.

We met up with the boys for lunch at
McDonald's then walked around Wheeler Farm.

Saturday night we left the kids at home and had a quick dinner at a yummy Mexican Restaurant. After, Ben and John watched the kids while Ramona and I went to see a movie. It was such a treat to go out together. The last time we saw a movie together was when we took Camille and Abby in their pajamas to see the movie Chicago in the theater,
where neither baby fell asleep.

On Sunday we drove to see Ben's cousin Barry for a quick visit. They have such cute kids- Evan and Thomas got along well with Connor, and Gracie reminded me of Camille when she was little. They have a beautiful home and a gorgeous scenic view from their front porch. We loved laughing with them and wish we could see them more often.

Monday we went to Temple
Square and chased the kids around.
